The Lamborghini Delivers First Urus in India

Launched early this year in India, Lamborghini has delivered the first Urus in the country to a customer in Mumbai. The first Urus delivered in India is finished in Rosso Anteros (Lambo speak for red), and it equips a 22-inch diamond finish Nath wheels. It also benefits from the Style package which comprises of gloss black exterior trim elements, a red brake callipers and a bright chrome finish for the quad tailpipes.
The plush cabin of the Lamborghini Urus features red contrast stitching for a sportier look. The Q-Citura pattern stitching on the leather seats, a panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting is also the part of the standard kit. It also packs a 360-degree surround view camera, a custom Bang & Olufsen 3D surround sound system and the ANIMA drive modes. Drive modes like Strada, Sport and Corsa are standard and it also comes with Sabbia (sand), Terra (gravel), Neve (snow) and Ego (fully customized) modes.
For those not in the know, the Lamborghini Urus is built on the MLB Evo platform which also underpins other SUVs in the VW Group such as Bentley Bentayga and Porsche Cayenne. Power on the beast comes from a mighty 4.0 litre, twin turbo V8 engine which emanates maximum power of 650 hp along with 850 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are carried out by an eight-speed automatic gearbox which sends power to all four wheels (40:60 front-rear split). The supercar is available for retail in India at a whopping price of Rs 3.10 crore (ex-showroom), though with the additional options on the model it should cost around Rs 4 crore.
