Maruti Suzuki has launched the Wagon R Limited Edition in the Indian market. The sales of this model will start from the auspicious festival season. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Limited Edition comes with new features and stylish interiors. It is offered with two optional accessories kits at a special price of Rs 15,490 and Rs 25,490, much lower than the market price. Needless to say, the Wagon R has been one of the most popular cars in India and continues to be amongst the country’s top five selling cars.
Introducing the Maruti WagonR Limited Edition Mr. R. S. Kalsi, Senior Executive Director (M&S), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “WagonR customers have always valued substance and style; with this limited edition we intend to make this festive season even more wonderful for them. With its tall boy design, driving comfort, spacious interiors and fuel efficiency, WagonR has always been amongst the top selling models for Maruti Suzuki. We are sure this new limited edition will bring in freshness to the product and excite the customers across India.” Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Limited Edition boasts of a wide array of enhanced features such as Interior styling kit, Double-DIN Bluetooth music system with speakers and Reverse parking sensors as standard.
In addition, the limited edition hatchback also gets stylish seat covers and premium cushion set, body graphics and rear spoiler as standard fitment. During April- September 2018-19, over 85,000 units of Wagon R have been sold, helping it to feature in India’s top selling cars month after month. Over 21.9 Lakh units of Wagon R have been sold since its launch in 1999. About 24 percent of the existing customers have bought the car more than once. The company has introduced the limited edition especially for this festive season. Maruti Wagon R challenges the likes of Tata Tiago and the upcoming Hyundai Santro in the Indian market.
