2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 is officially launched today by Bajaj Auto at Rs. 1,73,870 (ex-showroom - Delhi). The 2019 Bajaj Dominar is equipped with a host of new features and the engine now packs more power meanwhile, retaining the overall look of the motorcycle from the previous edition. Bajaj has focused on making the cruiser more touring friendly. The 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 is a fine mix of sports bikes performance and mile-munching capabilities of a touring machine. The new Dominar 400 also features some clever and innovative touring aides like Bungee straps under the seat to securely fasten the luggage during long-distance tours, redesigned secondary information display that now has a gear-position indicator and trip meter On the launch, Mr. Sarang Kanade, President – Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto Ltd said, Dominar 400 has been able to create a strong following for itself and has become the preferred choice for city riders and long-distance tourers, alike. Customers have pushed the bike into extreme long distance and challenging geographies with aplomb, which inspired us to strengthen the sports tourer credentials in the new Dominar. Bajaj Dominar 400 is now equipped with a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 373.3 cc DOHC motor. The motor now churns more power - 40 bhp (the previous edition used to make 35 bhp) of peak power and 35 Nm of torque. The fuel-injected motor is married to a 6-speed transmission with slipper-clutch. 2019 Bajaj Dominar is equipped with a twin-channel ABS unit. Also, the 2019 edition of Dominar 400 features a USD fork at the front with 135mm of travel.
